I have been holding onto a pancake with an image of a '85 928 and you can even see the slotted wheels. Maybe I should put that on E-bay.

$3000 might sound high but I'm sure they would bring more on eBay if sold individually and if collection is as complete as it sounds. Some brochures like US version of '95 GTS brochure are worth $150-250 alone based on previous eBay sales. Probably still not worth the trouble unless one wants to keep some of the hard to find items him/herself.
