Default AC came on with button off...now not at all

I've never experienced anything like that before, now it won't come on at all. I'll start diag. tomorrow, but noticed that the compressor wasn't on at all once the system was blowing warm. W I E R D!

Did you break the compressor clutch wire? Maybe it contacted something else to kick on, then broke loose and is no longer connected. It's probably not likely that it would find another 12V source on it's own, but it might be worth checking.

When my dinky blue relay inside climate control head died, it died the same way.
A/C always on. Then the relay just quit. Guess the relay welded itself on and
just melted it's inside from being on all the time.

Radio Shack used to have 5 amp relay that fit on the underside of the
climate control board. Factory little blue pill is a 2.5 amper.

Ernest (NYC) Fixed that. Then vacuum control to heater valve fails. Always heat.
