Hi All,
I'm actually posting this question on behalf of Darien who plans to check back here for an answer...
He'd like to clean the brake caliper pistons. He's removed the rotors and the pads. He'd like to know if he pumps the brake pedal will the pistons come out of the calipers completely or will they just reach a certain point and stop prior to coming out all the way?
Thanks.

Just remove brake line and shoot shoot compressed air in there. Place a catch rag on the other side because that thing will fly across the room.

not all will exit the same,
take it off and then put a block of wood roughly the same size as the rotor and really worn pads, then put some compressed air into the caliper and pop, pop, pop, pop will happen and all 4 will be easily removed after that, use new seals as well.

Good point about the seals, I'm assuming you should not remove the pistons unless you have new seals - something you cannot buy for the brembo's without new pistons.

I was actually hoping to get the all the pistons fully extended without removing them. I do not have a rebuild kit. I just want to get the pistons cleaned and do a brake bleed. Now that I have the calipers off, can I pump the brake pedal to get them all extended? Will they extend to a certain point and stop or will they come all the way out?
