Default Wrinkle finish valve covers installed.

Installed these yesterday. Very pleased with the results. It will be interesting to see how the letters stand up to the heat and stress.

I LOVE the look of those. Does anyone have long-term experience in keeping them clean?

A set of wheels would look cool with that finish.

Hi those valve covers look great, and a few questions where did you get the black oil fill cap and the black dip stick , could they have been painted? also are you still running the original fuel lines ,if so i would recommend that you replace all 4 of them. Nice finish on the cross brace as well. Stan

Ahh one other suggestion that brass temp sensor on top of your intake will polish up very well,Stan

Tony has been living with red wrinkle finish in his engine bay for a while. Maybe you could ask him how he keeps it so clean at mach 3.

Ive got a 1 1/2 yrs on mine. Same color and type of finish. No issues with the heat here in vegas. I clean them off with warm soapy water when teh engine is cool.

Looks great Michael! I may try the letters also.
Bring it out to the drag strip on Fiday night

That looks pretty cool!!! But it could use some engine lettering, like Intrinsicate's valve covers. Or how about chrome lettering? I think that would be coolest of the cool...

Stan, the strut brace, oil-filler cap and dipstick handle are all painted in Rust-oleum Hammered finish black. It works extremely well, if you pay attention to the instructions about multiple coats and hardening times. I did mine several years ago, and the finish has proved very durable.
