Ignore the rust, that happened after the hub/carrier was removed.





The critical point is the play between the bearing and the splined hub. This caused:

Spongy brakes
Camber not adjustable
Car pulled to left
Short rear tyre life (5000-6000 miles) although not uneven wear

I had a rear bearing take wear the hub when it seized. Was there any bad bearing noise coming from that area?
