Default Crunching sound from right rear.

In my ever continuing saga of fixing stuff on my car before I sell it. (I do admit I'm starting to get "seller's" remorse - maybe I won't sell?) Wondering if my bearings are toast? I recently replaced the whole axle/bearing assembly on that side because the boots were disintigrating away. I thought the noise was the joints where they meet the wheel / transmission. If this is my wheel bearings making noise does anyone have a DIY with pics to fix this? P-car.com has one for 993's. I figure its fairly similar but the 928 is 17 yrs older and maybe a different design one its all apart?

Parking brake pads, they are inside the rotor hats
Pull the lever and see if anything changes

That's probably it, if it fails Tony's parking brake test. My wheel bearing made a pretty terrible intermittent crunching noise. Took out the hub with it. I don't recall a DIY guide (the 993 is not similar enough), although people do it. The hard part is removing the old bearing and pressing in the new one. I did everything but that. The bearing is in the hub carrier(#9 in the first image). The hub carrier is held in by shaft #11 and bolt #17 in the second pic. So, you remove the brakes and rotor and other stuff in the way to get to this. Parking brakes too.
