Brake Lights/Headlight Motor Issues...

Alan, Wally explained it pretty well. Additionally, I think later cars still have the dual hydraulic switches, but they just don't control the brake lights. The switch on the pedal was news to me, I looked it up in the WSM though after seeing the reply in my email. I was curious since I've never seen the switch on the pedal.

lol.. so the reason the brake lights weren't working...
we pulled out the undertray and glove box to get at the alarm the last time we worked on the Porsche (winter break)... aaannd... the undertray also has the central lamp warning system attached to it. so, that would be the reason they weren't working![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
