Default Curious about flex exhaust pipes

So I was at murrays auto parts store today getting some gloves and simple green today, and I saw this flexible exhaust pipes while browsing. Anyone ever used these? I took one out and flexed it around, seemed interesting. Wouldn't it leak from between the seams when you flex it? Just curious...

Yes... they leak. It's probably cheaper (maybe not) and undoubtedly better to just go to a muffler shop and get some custom bent pipe.

That's fine IF you're gonna run Cats.

If you're not gonna run cats - they won't touch it!

Mark, Mark, Mark... Haven't you ever hear of my three friends, Jackson, Grant, and Franklin? Granted, I only use them in that order, but it's amazing the kind of influence they can have!

Seriously though, I think if they just bend pipe to your specs, without actually installing it, you'd probably find some willing participants.

just get a shop to cut and expand a piece of pipe for you the right length, only dont clamp it with a u clamp. You will never get it off. Use a stainless band clamp.

If you're stuck and have to use it to get you home, it's great stuff. IMHO it is an emergency band-aid at best.
