To be safe, I think you could forward a note instructing your vendors to not use the term "X-pipe" in their marketing campaigns, and instead wither call it a Cross-over, X-flow, Ott-X, the cat's @$$, or whatever (depends on your marketing strategy). Then tell the guy you have complied with his request, then tell him to go suck a lemon!

Alternatively you could just ignore him and make crank calls to his cell phone every 3 minutes (I'll help). What a turd!
AFAIK, No one who sells an "Ott Pipe" derivitive calls it an X-Pipe. No one manufactures an X-Pipe configured exactly how I made mine. I think he has X crossover trademarked too and that may be close to what Dave Lomas call his. If anyone wanted to get money from me, there isn't much to get.

I have two Ott-pipes and love them. He can have his x-pipe and I hope he chokes on 'em.

I did an internet search on the German alphabet.
It listed pronounciation of the letter "X" as 'ixx.'

Wonder how an Ixx-pipe sounds?

Browsing through his patent for the dual chamber exhaust, looks like
any dual pipe exhaust that has any merging may infringe on his "discovery."
So a dual pipe system going through a single cat or single muffler can may violate his patent if the merging is close to "coaxial" to the intake pipes. Sigh.
