Rear Signage
This brings up a question. Signage. You'd think for a company/business whose reputation is buit on "design" they would have some compulsion about the inconsistency in the signage. I never understood why they changed the font on the 968. If it was to give the 968 its own identity, then why mix that font in on the 928 GTS. Speaking of, is there a rule on the GTS? Some do not show "GTS" (true to '93?? only), some have GTS w/o the solid reflector across the tail. And if I'm not mistaken, some have the solid reflector and "GTS" Does this come from the racing "thing" where they have hundreds of one-offs and using parts from a bin and changing in the middle of a model year, that they just can't be bothered with consistency on something like stick-on letters?? It just strikes me as weird from a company that is so design oriented.
