Default Seat Wiring

Does anyone have the schematic for the 14-pin memory seat harness?

I got a sport seat that's going to be put on a memory seat frame, but in the meantime I'd like the motors to work in the sport seat--except that the plug crumbled and I don't know which of the few wires from the sport seat fit into which of the 14 pin holes on the car. I think it's also possible to run a jumper to re-energize the mirror control unit functions.

There are posts of people having gone down this path, but I can't find the exact information I need...

TIA.

Brian,
If you send me your email address today (I'm going out of town tomorrow), I can email you the approp
wire diagrams. My email is jim928"at"ptd.net. I can't get the file sizes low enough to upload here.

Well, I can get you the connector anyway. Here's T20, drivers side.

PIN no. - 'car' side wire color -"to" - seat side of connector wire color
1 br to br
2 re/ye to re
3 bk/bl to bk/bl
4 bk to bk
5 wt/re to wt/re
6 wt/bl to wt/bl
7 wt/ye to wt/ye
8 wt/bk to wt/bk
9 wt to wt
10 wt/gn to wt/gn
11 br/bk to br/bk
12 br to br
13 none to none
14 re/wt to re/wt

hope this is of some help. I just couldn't get the cropped image of the connector down to the right file size to load.

H whats the deal - you have the mem seats and controller but no wiring in th car? or different...

I assume you do have the memory control pads? - do you have the looms for this - at least for the connectors at each end...

Dozman is doing something similar soon - I told him I'd tell him how to wire it all up.. maybe 2 birds huh?

H - its not on the memory seats? usually its attached... you still probably need the mirror unit and the control pad(s). Do you have both Driver & passenger mem seats or just drivers. If both: you need both mem button pads - the passenger side is harder to find since fewer were built with that option.

Best bet is to see if Dozman or Rixter (or similar) can source you the whole loom for these - seats to controller, controller to door pad & mirrors.

Alan I'm planning on wiring a 928 sport seat(s) with memory ... I have the mirror unit and the looms ... but not the underseat controller. I think I'm hosed.
