I assume that the Audiobahn speakers are the same impedence as the stock Blaupunkts and were wired to the stock amp? Just making sure. My stock system sounds pretty good, but I wouldn't mind upgrading the larger door spkrs as you have done. Thanks.

I believe the stock front door speakers were marked 4 ohm. These should substitute OK, but I'm not using the stock amp. I believe the original post was just dropping these in for the stock speakers.

I am not running the preamp either. Pioneer stereo, wired direct to speakers.

They pop off and sometimes break in the process - be very carefull.
