Default Radiator repair

I just got my radiator back from a shop they told me they could not fix it. I bought this car with the infamous hole where the headlight motor arm pushed through.
They said they cant fix it because it was alluminum. Is there a way to fix this? I have 3 torn tubes and they are rolled over and crimped. thanks.

Sorry to hear it. I thought I had to replace the side tank seals due to a leak but it was really the hose clamp was the problem. After I did all repairs oh well I have new seals. Sounds like possible aluminum radiator from Devek or one of the others. Good luck.

One way is to remove both end tanks and weld shut the 3 damaged tubes. Another alternative is a new or used radiator from us.

This just happened to me. We're sure the rad can't be fixed?

Also, I have an 86 5-speed. There's no oil cooler on that stock, right? So if I were to order a new rad I'd want the 'no cooler' version?

Sigh.

The 86 should have an engine oil cooler on the drivers side so the two cooler all aluminum is the BEST fix...
