Default Porken's 16V cam timing tool

I am needing one of these 16V sets for my Euro. I contacted Porken (Ken) and he no longer has any for sale. He needs a minimum of 5 orders and I think the price is around $140 each. The price gets cheaper if we get 10 orders.

Is there anyone else out there that wants a set? I want to get this going ASAP.

Mike means the 16V kit, which has the laser cut tools, plus machined hubs for installing 32V adjustable gears on 16V camshafts:

Ken,
Did you say that Brendan wanted a set also? If so, that makes 5, maybe 6 if Hackers neighbor wants one.

As soon as we get 5 firm orders, let's set up a drop dead date for any other additonal orders and get Ken some money so he can start making these things again...I need one soon.

Chuck,

While we're at it, I can swap my 4.5 with your old 4.7 - Heinrich won't notice.

What's wrong with the euro cams? Did the wobbly one turn out to be bad?

Ken,

Is the cam shaft suppose to be in two pieces? Does that mean it's bad? I'm sure Heinrich won't notice the difference in the 4.7L and your 4.5L until he installs it and takes it for the first drive.

Well at least Jim at 928Intl gave me the good news/bad news... Good news is that I"ll have a replacement cams tomorrow no cost.. the bad news is that all they had were new ones.

What is it with me and cam shafts? Two broken shafts on two different engines... Thankfully I don't have an S4...

Chuck,

Bet my new welder would fix that right up!

They gave you NEW, EURO camshafts, for FREE, for your CORE engine? Pull the other one, mate!

Heinrich wouldn't notice at all - he's a 32V guy, remember.

Yeah.. going to swap them both now.. had already bought the gaskets and seals.... and have a pocket full of custom #6 allen for the removal. Just need a double-jointed acrobat now.
