Default Flappy experts, need help

I have started to pull my intake to exchange the flappy bearings due to a leakage after powder coating.
Can some one tell how many turns pretention there should be on the spring that makes the flappy close after operation?
Not sure that i made it right the first time intake was off.

/Peter

When I put mine back togeather, I had so tight that I could not open the valve by sucking on the tube. So I adjusted the flappy so I could open it with my mouth. I looked everywhere in the WSM as to how to install but nothing. As I recall there is one turn on the spring from working and not. So I am as interested as Peter as to the correct way to install the flappy valve.

Thanks Heinrich,

so three turns should be taking me back to factory default?
Good picture Borland but gives no insight to the pretension mystery.

Cheers/Peter

Peter..........the car develops somewhere between 15 -20"Hg so set the spring tension so that you can open the flappy valve with a hand vacuum pump at this level of vac.
