Ok, well how bout my specific output figure,

Im all seriousness, how do we bump this, there has to be at least 50hp just waiting in a stock 5.0L

66 hp/ltr 2 valve engines make that easily, I think we need to apply some modern injection and spark tech to these cars, and a different intake design, although It better be just as pretty as the one it replaces.

I mean look at what the F430 ferrari Is up to what like 120 per liter, I think thats the best sign of a well tuned car is specific output, its nearly double the 928. WAIT, what the hell am i talking about, this is a chevy conversion thread!

Sorry

You can get 100 hp per liter from a 4 valve engine no problem in fact they have achieved 110 already, my mild 4.7 should do 80 hp per liter (it's doing 70 hp per liter now) when tuned and it has stock cams. So don't go chevy for power. Maybe other reasons, LS7 would be good, all the hard engine building work has been done for you.

Cheers Greg
