I saw the car today and it looks good.
The seller seems OK, he is an Austrian guy stating to mainly live in the BVI Islands.

The rear bumper was replaced and even though seller states that there was no other repaint, the right rear quarter looks like it was re-sprayed.
Seats look great, but could have been recovered, seller stated original.
Carpets need cleaning.
The engine bay does not look nice and several parts show rust.
Seems to run nice and mileage could be as stated.
I would do a PPI if I was to buy the car. My buddy that went with me does not want to buy it, he didn't like the color combo and wants to hold out for an exceptional example.

Wasnt there just a black 1989 928 offered from Naples recently?? Looks like the very same background pics to me. Did anyone here buy that Shark>? Was it the same seller?

"The leather wrapped dash will remind you of nothing but class."
not sure what he's looking at but it appears to be vinyl dipped in armorall
I sent a msg regarding the leather issue and option codes, let's see if he insults me for questioning him on this

well the interior is not all leather (I knew this)
he doesn't have the option codes as the car is in the shop for the service and clutch..
funny that he says it shifts perfect yet needs a new clutch at 62k miles (raced?)

Rixter,
Not saying your wrong, but I'll say this, IMHO the GT preasure plate is WEAK!. While my clutch looked fine, I could easily slip it when shifting hard or accelerating hard off the line. The GTS clutch made this all better!

"Digital climate control"? Is that because there are numbers on it?

He pulled the initial auction. I have no idea why this Shark has bid so high. There is definitetly dishonesty going on and the guy is a maroon, as previously stated.
