Default iso: 83 - 89 LSD

Need to do a tranny rebuild so.... while Im in there I would like to put an lsd in also. Id like to have it done by SITM, so I guess I gotta get crackin!!

Anyone have one?

YIKES!!! $2,436.00!?

Well. Im sure its worth every gold penny. But I cant go that route. I didnt plan on spending that much for the entire rebuild!!!

Unless I can find a used one.... kicking myself for not buying FBIII's!!... Looks like Ill only be smoking one tire at a time.

Anyone got a spare??

No, no, no! Get a nice USED one from 928 Intl for far less than half of that.

Oh! Duh. Looking at the www site, I didnt see the used section.

Now I just need to find someone (close to DC hopefully) to verify the 2nd gear issue!

Actually any year, manual or auto, LSD will work, I just have to use my ring to make it work correct?

As your thread title said, you need 83-89. You do use your ring gear as it is factory matched to your pinion. I don't know if Jim's "Nope" means he doesn't have another right now. Best to call him.

The nope was to the fitment question I do have a good used slip 83-89 which is what is needed.....CALL ME ...summer is coming and the track junkies start to feel the need to be able to use two rear tires !
