LOL we are a bit daft ... we could have looked at the manufacturing date stamped into the pump

Note the six vs. two raised stiffening ribs that run up to the boss area on the S4 pump: That plus the stronger stud with M10 threads plus the cross brace suggests that Porsche were well aware of the high tension loads on the carrier pivot.
Futhermore, the tensioner body had been moved out ~8mm to center its thrust through the tension roller directly into the TB centerline. This was to minimize radial torque on the pivot stud.
A busy bunch they were - patching up a weak design

Zimms price on that pump is super.....pretty and low price they may just have a buyer for one of those next week
