I have found a good leather covered mount designed specifically for our cars. I have NO affiliation, but thought othes might want the info. The company is in Europe, and has done these OEM type mounts for years. Here is the link to the US distrubutor and an e-mail for questions:

Did you install in your car? If so, do you have better pictures to show how it mounts?

For phones - these days I'd just recommend a Bluetooth kit - quite cheap, more features, compatible with most new phones and no need tomount the phone anywhere but clipped on your belt. Most of these now offer voice activated dialling - even if your phone doesn't... you can initiate, answer and mute a call at the touch of a button - audio can also go though the radio aux input with auto switching capability. You can also transfer calls to and from the car system when you get in and leave.

I don't yet have on in my 928 but I do in my other car and also have a bluetooth headset - this technology has finally arrived.

- Now for an iPod mount - hmmm maybe... or wait for the iPod with bluetooth ?
