Default My New Ride

88 S4 - High Mileage (184,000), low price .

Interior is almost immaculate - no warping, splitting etc. so was either very well cared for throughout its life, or it has been recently replaced.

Engine needs a good cleaning. Body is straight but needs a good buffing. One scratch along DS door.

Looks awesome Rob, good find! Is this a keeper or a fix-er-upper to sell?

Hacker - this is a keeper - although it is an auto. My Jacquemond clockwork kit will go on this one, and it should be recieving a little "boost" before the end of the year.

Very nice with LOTS of potential. Important things are right about this car. Start by pulling the intake off and replacing everything rubber/plastic, paint intake and I bet the tbelt is ancient. Get the wheel replaced too. Great dash, pod, glovebox and seats - leatherique the seats.

Nice! Looks like it's been well cared for and based on the mileage, it's simply been enjoyed; understandably so. Congrats!

All the rubber/plastic looks in good shape - but it will be replaced anyway - especially fuel lines.

TB is being done next weekend. I'm going to check the flex plate this weekend.

Looking at a Momo Jet wheel. Will be consulting the Jager Engineering page for more dress up items. I'll also be calling leatherique today.

Also looking at a X-over and RMB today (a bit concerned about the noise with the combination).

I've grown really fond of the stock wheel, but I am alone in this ... and the 930S wheel is gorgeous too. That one feels too thick for me. Anyway, may I recommend Constantine's driveshaft coupler fix? It's 400 dollars or so and for your car I would steongly consider it.

Cool

A very nice find, and at that price, you can't go wrong. I especially like the look without the side moldings

You are a Bargin shopper

There have been a lot who say the combination is a bit too much. I haven't heard so I can't say. I'm sure someone will chime in with their opinion. I just wish I could get either of those and add a little more instant "umph" and BWAAHHHHHH to my OB.
