BTW: this is REAL now. I have 20 of the 50 driving slots already spoken for, and I have not even advertised it yet. We have sent the $$ to the race track to hold our date - so I am now commited (or should be commited)!
I will post a webpage soon so that you can pay your entry fee early and save $20 by doing so.
I'm waiting for "one more thing" from the owner of the Joliet Convention Center, then I am ready to announce it to all.
Thanks to all of you for your interest - it should be a different and fun event.

Carl that is great news ! good on you for putting it together ! Now with meets spread all over the county there is little reason for someone not to make it to one or more.

That's the plan! No doubt, requests for Mark Anderson top co-pilot will be at the max.
Other instructors (so far): Myself, Randy Faunce, Jerry DeWeerdt
You may need to share Mark with others!
Hopoing to hear from Jean-Louis Picouet and Agnes that they can come and instruct also - and looking for others!

Carl and all! You have a great event planned. Unless your a racer, getting the chance to take some laps on a great road course is a rare treat. All you shark owners should make every effort to pack this event. I have approval from Sandy to attend with the Alien. We hope to land early and join in the social. I'm looking forward to seeing all Sharks! Thank you for allowing me to join in on this exclusive event!
BTW: Carl is freshing up my euro heads. I have somewhere around 90 days or so to finish my engine rebuild, repair my paint, and have the car ready to attend the 914 West Coast Classic. The event is in Portland Oregon this year. So If your in the area, keep a lookout for a pack of teeners invading your city in July!
