You might be able to see the plywood panel that is integrated into the lower front section for strength. It's supposed to provide extra support should the front end bottom out. Of course I'm not going to depend on that. The road surface is considerably harder than that, but it is a comforting touch. It certainly wouldn't be there on some cheaper products. I'm satisfied.
