My GTS is often in the sun in Phoenix (thats sun). I use Vinylex on the vinyl dash and its perfect. It looks much better now (even satin/matte finish) than it did when I first got it. I do a full treatment approx twice a year - maybe 3 times - no more. I think Vinylex is the best for vinyl. I also use Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner and am quite happy with those too though I'd also consider other subsitutes like Leatherique...

Oh, one more thing. The only bad thing that I've heard about armourall (and similar things) is that they contain alchol and that that is was is responsible for drying out the dash unless you keep treating it over and over again. So like the addict that I am, I'm doing in over and over again.

LOL see, this is a topic that is capable of starting a major disagreement. But for me ... I would use lightly soapy water and wash it off. Never let water get into any cracks.

Good bits of info here. I have used a lot of diiferent products. I didn't like meguiars, the others OK and now i use "Tanners Preserve". It is inexpensive sold in the auto parts store and makes leather smell like a brand new baseball glove. You could get hi on it.
BUT too much of a good thing is not good. I have a full leather interior and I will say go light with any of this stuff on the doors and rear quarters just once a year or you could BUBBLE it.
The seats can be hit all you want and they see the use. I am lucky to have like new seats with almost 0 wear. I treat them often especially the side bolsters.

That Tanner's Preserve isn't too bad in a pinch. I've been using it in my '99 Explorer for years, and the leather surfaces are like new (Ford uses good leather, btw).
tv, the Tanner's Preserve, although it penetrates well & smells better than Lexol, doesn't stay with the leather like Lexol does. Also Lexol's ability to soften the leather is much better. I guess that's why T.P. is half the price per oz. If you like the T.P., you'll really like the Lexol...and since the Lexol lasts 2x longer, it's about the same price.
