The best add i ever saw was actually for a bike, it was a TV spot for the V-65 Sabre. This was in the mid 80s.
Anyone who's ever seen the commercial will remember it immediately, to anyone that hasn't, no words will do it justice.
"The V-65 Sabre. Know what it feels like to have 125 horsepower in the palm of your hand".

I remember one from my high school daze. Early 70's. Intro for the Triumph TR6. Had it cutting esses while spinning the tires down the highway - leaving twin tire mark trails the whole way.
