Default Blaupunkt Manhattan Question's

1988 928 S4....Can not figure out how to set the clock on the Blaupunkt Manhattan CD148. Also how to adjust the balance and fader. There is a Kenwood EQ installed between the Head and Amp, must not be stock, or is any of it stock? The unit sounds good sometimes, lousy most the time. I have researched many of the stereo threads but have run out on ideas to get this unit working good, or to just start w/new stereo. Have resoldered door speaker connections, and cleaned amp connections. What next? Any help appreciated.

Er, this is the only CD148 on the USA website.
http://www.blaupunktusa.com/Blaupunk...ch%20CD148.htm

Not sure what part of the world you're in.
There's a link on that page to a pdf manual.
Some of their manuals have more information than others.
Found the pin-out diagram for my Blau head unit there.
First Blaupunkt unit I had had a flakey volume control.

Ernest (NYC) German stereo in a West German car.

Thanks, the on-line manual got the clock set, now I will recheck all the connections per the diagram and hope that gets it working.

Any idea if that is the unit that came w/the car? What is stock in an 88? No audio info in my owners manual. Would that be a supplemental manual?
