I too like them on the black OB. But then again I'm partial to the OB's

Sorry for replying instead of him, but my guess is it's '93 as stated in his signature.

Good try but it looks like it's the 94 in his signature. Good eye though.

That's a 964. That body style is for models '89 (not all) - '94.

The problem I have with the new TT wheels is that they look too thin for a 928. The 928 is a solid "heavier" looking car and the wheel spokes just look too skinny...doesn't support the style of the 928 well enough. That's why the designers went with fatter spoke wheels if not the flat dish when the 928 was produced. It's all about balance of appearance. I have seen a lot of folks using the wrong style wheels on their cars(not just 928's)...I guess you just have to have an eye for it.

I desagree with that... The 928 is maybe heavy, a lot, but doesn't LOOK heavy. Most people who see mine think it's in the 2500-2700 pounds.

Keith I always wondered if the 928 would have sold better if it had better wheels in the early years. The man hole covers just plain suck. The phone dials look good to me but a lot of people hate those too. Just a thought

Jason/Mike,
I couldn't agree w/you more. Here's a modern-day example of a hideous wheel ruining the look of an otherwise decent looking car:

And here's what it should have looked like:

Another decades-old wheel design that really complimented the car:

I agree...been looking for a wheel that is a solid look that will fit a 928.

As far as a "heavy" look, didn't mean weight wise. There is probably a better term that slips my mind at the moment. I am speaking strickly in design terms.
