928 was pretty much my first car at 18. I had "owned" other cars before it, but a 928 was the first car I bought and payed for with my own hard earned money. and, I figure, since that money was three months in the army, it was well earned too. I am truly an addict. my baby is going through a complete restoration, into which I am dropping about 4X the amount I originally payed for the car. I agree though, it seems to me all 928 owners are young and mature, or mature but young at heart.

I'm 23, and got my S4 last summer. I had just finished restoring a 924, and when I saw my first 928 S4, I bought it almost instantly. I knew lots about 928's, but living in Northern Canada I had never seen one before (other than pictures).
Up here, I frequently get comments like, "what kinda car is that??", or "I didn't know Porsche made a V8." I guess I'm slowing educating the red necks up here that a sports car doesn't have to be a Mustang. Now I just have to convince them to fix all the pot holes!

19th anniversary of my 21'st birthday was January 22nd. I felt like the youngest guy at SITM a few years ago, though I'm sure I wasn't. Nevertheless, since my parents live near there, I stayed with them and missed out on a lot of fun at the hotel. Age at SITM isn't important- you'll find friends if you stay there and have a 928 to show.
