Default Before I pull the engine

Before I pull my engine to do the rod bearings and crank scraper, I am wondering is there any way to pressurize the coolant to find where it is leaking from without starting the car? When I last started the car and noticed the leak it was really dark and it was pouring fast so I didnt have time to really look.

Grab a short piece of hose and a plastic 'tee' and tap into the small vapour return hose from the top of the rad. Regulate an air line to max. 15 psi into the tee .... and look for the leak.

Any mechanic garage or rad. repair shop has a pump like that. I'm sure they are willing to presure test your coolant system for a small fee.
