Mine have been on for about 18 months - no problems - they bow up a little - I think this is intentional to keep a sprung gap. They were hard to initially work into place but with the Zip ties on they work very well. Previously my doors always swung back - now they stay out every time...

Mine have been fine a few months...May I suggest S/S zip ties? I bought a pack of them at HF in a variety of sizes. They'd be stronger than the plastic ones, IMO.

One thing I have noticed with mine is I need to tighten the bolt that holds them in place every now and again....since the door closing loosens it.....of course if I put loctite on it to begin with that might have solved the problem!

My first set lasted about 3 months... second set seems OK so far...
