Pam and I will be moving to Nashua, NH in June or July. We have three vehicles and one will be driven, one will be towed behind a U-Haul truck, and the third, the GT will have to be shipped. I'm looking for a recommendation for a shipper, some idea as to cost, and a someone in Boston to receive the car and keep it for a few days.

Sorry to see you move. I hope you like snow, rain, snow, slush, snow, fog, snow. Oh, BTW, as for trying to get to NH from TX - 'ya caint get theah from heyuh'.
When I moved from CO to TX, I heard so many horror stories about shipping companies, that I made a bunch of trips with the trailer to move the fleet. I would hesitate to recommend any of them, but teh ACD club uses Horseless Carraige. Way expensive, don't know about quality.

Mark,
I was looking to ship to Boston because it would mean one less shuffle on/off the carrier than to Chester. Thanks for the offer.
Carl,
Thanks, I'll probably be looking you up when the time nears.
Doc,
It's approximately 2200 miles. It's a helluva drive.
Look at it this way, you can dress up for the cold, but there's only so much you can take off for the heat.

Ernest,
Failing the other generous offers above, you can have the shark delivered to my farm in NH and I will store it inside one of my barns for you. I am on 93, about an hour north of Nashua, next to Plymoth NH. Here is a picture of the storage space. As you can see there are already a couple of sports cars stored there for the winter. One of them is a shark that is not even mine.
Re the difference between Texas and New Hampshire......fear not my friend, you will like it here, ignore the naysayers.

Ernest,
My brother used InterCity Lines to ship his '94 E500 from Austin to Baltimore. They were a top notch outfit and I would highly recommend them. My brother's was the second car the driver had picked up that day; the first was a perfect Shelby GT350 that had just been purchased in San Antonio for $150K. After seeing how the driver handled the cars, I wouldn't even bother researching other shippers. Cost was $1300 and the car left my house on a Tues afternoon and arrived in Baltimore on Fri afternoon.

Thanks!
Someone on Rennlist posted that years ago. I'd love to get an original copy of the magazine it came from so I could make a poster of it for my garage.
