Default I have a pic 928 truck.

I have picture of a 928 truck that I ave never seen before. I was pissed when I seen this. I was like what the hell....and why the hell would some one do this. I would like to share this with group but I cant figure out how to put the image in. I did the insert put it just gave the location on my hard drive and not the pic. Anyone know how to do this. I also ran a cross a 928 wagon.... That is just not right.

Give him the reason as well...

European emissions.

They are not as strict on taxes and emissions on a truck...
So it's a way to get through a loophole in the laws.

Yes to the black one in front of the steps...... Some what like the red GT or GTS. I'am sorry this is just unhealthy to even think of. If I walked up on this even back in the 80's I first would be like what the hell, and would want to talk to the idiot that even thought of this idea just so I could slap the hell out of him. I what the hell is wrong with these people taking a high end sports car and turnnig it into a turd..... My thoughts on this. I dont really know about the rest of you out there but I have always wanted a 928 every seens I saw one in Germany back in 1980. That car was,was "O" MY GOD.... and when it blow by us on the autobuahn in Mainz and we where 100 mph in a 69 Camaro. That was the car I always dreamed about. My love,my love.... Now I have one and I'am on top off my own little world.

I wouldn't be too upset, wouldn't hurt me if I found one in good condition... just easier for me to lead my mountain bikes

This is what hapens when high end GT is available for not much $$.
After a wile of being on rennlist and seing some of the "Basterdized" ride from some of the members, you'll get used to it. Having said that, I'm with you on this one, not my cop of java. Some people have to much $$$ and free time.

That is the 1984 928-4 - a 4-seater with extended wheel base specifically made for Ferry Porsche.

First 928 with reasonable space for 4
First and only 928 with the bubble projector lights.
First ever 928 with the S4 front and back.
First 928 with 4-valve engine

And no, it was not black - it was dark green metallic...

I nearly bought the 4X4 a few years ago in Sweden!
I assume its the same car. I called the guy who owned it and got a little info. It was based on a Jeep Chassi and had a American V8 in it.
I thought it was so wild....! And I think the guy had a hard time selling it so I could have gotten it for less than 100000 Sek or roughly 10000 Euros. Maybe not cheap, but look at that thing! Porsche would never had to produce the Cayenne....

I gotta agree, the 4x4 928 is awesome. The wagons are pitiful. The trucks are sacrilege.

Wasn't the 4x4 either made by or owned by some company in Europe as a promo tool of sorts for their products? Least I thought I read that on here or somewhere. Here's a few more pics of it for those who like it to enjoy.... talk about door speakers!
