No, I didn't think you overstated it. I just knew that I could do it & didn't want people to withhold telling me what was involved because they thought I didn't have the skills to accomplish the job. You were right, it's not for the average guy. I'll post the blow by blow pics when I'm done. I'm just afraid that will horrify so many people that no one will try to do it again! Thanks for the basics tho.

Yes do post the photos have you decided on a color ? rich luxurious classy clean still seem like the wrong adjectives for a SUPERCAR ! and only refrigerators and washing machines look good in white With your MOPAR connection maybe do one of the Cuda colors ! Life is too short to be bland....

I have a color I'm leaning to, but I won't be painting it (my son & I are doing all the work) for about two weeks yet, so I'm keeping my options open. I'm waiting for a front bumper cover & rocker skirts to get here from Strosek. They're really holding me up. I think those additions will increase the 'bling'. I don't want to 'pimp out' my baby with too 'fly' of a color like 'panther pink' or some 'grabber blue'. We'll see soon......Film at 11:00!

the pic you posted of your car in the garage...at least on my monitor, it looked like you had about 4" of windshield, and the rest of the top of the car was invisible... due to the shade in the garage. Kind of a strange effect. .But certainly nothing but compliments from me for your GTS. Me likey !

My 2 cents......... I am going to be painting mine soon and one thing that I believe in is if you paint the car a very dark color i.e. dark blue, dark green, dark etc.............. you just as soon paint it black!
The car always looks black or is mistaken for black. Sunny days or cloudy days it doesn't matter. I could never take a picture of my dark blue car and not have it look black.

Jeff...got it. I just couldn't figure out what you were saying in your original post. The shadow does lay over the upper part of the car, but on a good monitor, you can see that. I liked the effect. That is why I took that pic...and others. The sun sets and shines direct virgin rays into my garage and makes colors glow. All chrome and glass sparkle. I have to say that trying to capture this is near impossible...you just have to see it in real life. My avatar is the same effect. Kinda gives it that planet in the solar system look when the sun hits it's face. Thanks!

Keith...tell me more about the "virgin rays"...how can you tell them...from the ones that..."well, you know...have been around the block"
Seriously...I thought I had a good monitor(for a CRT)...its a 21" Mitsubishi @1600x1200 resolution...
PS...I can remember "colors glowing"...it was back sometime in the early 70s as I recall..
