Nicole, seats are basic sport seats meaning fore-aft and backrest movevent is done manually. Buttons move front and back up-down. These are much more common than 8-way sports.

Most of the S4's with tan interior are called Champagne...it appears Cashmere is slightly darker than Champagne....at least the carpet is....the leather seems exactly the same to me?

Well... Cashmere was a standard leather color from MY89 onwards. Before, there was a special leather option called "Champagne". That's what Brian is referring to.

Nicole,
Was Champagne a different color interior? Brian's looks similar to mine and has it listed as Champagne in his signature but as Cashmere in the registry. Wasn't sure if it was one of these Guards red, India red same color with a different name scenario.

Cobalt
When I posted on the registry I assumed my car had cashmere...sense other cars with a similar color (in pictures) looked the same. Once I got my COA from Porsche then I realized I had champagne interior...in pictures it is very hard to tell the difference...but in person it is slightly darker...which is easier to see in the carpet...since the leather is so close! Most upholstery shops that stock Gahh leather will have a sample....you'll see a cashmere, champagne & champagne II....my car most closely matches champagne II
