Default Pinning Weissach axle - how to

Lots and lots of discussions on this forum covering the theory behind the Weissach axle and when it should be considered for "pinning", but I could not find information on exactly how to pin it. I'm interested in learning how if anyone can point me in the right direction
thanks

Pinning the suspension in a way that the passive rear wheel steering no longer works. If you mean how... I think that's what Tarek is asking. I'd also like to know.

drill a hole through the lower rear arm arm front mount the part where the alloy and rubber bit fits inside the hollow steel tube of the lower arm and insert a bolt this resricts the movement . It may or may not be an improvement.

dont do it . the fastest , best handling 928s do not have the rear end pins. there has been a bunch of theories, all have been pretty much disproven. with limited slip, big rear tires, stiffer swaybar, etc, there are all sorts of things to play . pinning the rear end , is usually only done when you completely change to it over to something that is all spherical joints, then you better have 3 way adjustable, $10,000 motons to do your suspension adjustments.
At the level and speeds i race the car at, i can tell you first hand, the stock suspension does exactly what it is supposed to do. it counteracts the slight over steer on power on, turns.
all its doing is toe-ing in the rear wheel that is compressed to keep that end from loosing grip. Its a great design, with little or no downside. why change it?

more pics of that.

by the way, if those arent race rubber, its not going to matter if you have a 1 foot wider stance!!!!
by the way again, how wide is that outside tire to outside tire?
if you are talking about tire size, i run 335x30x18 competitively. it helps there, just as it helps with 275s!

Keith;

Aside from the drivers seat that wouldn't slide backwards (Tarek has very short legs) this was the most awesome Babe magnet I've ever driven.
Last year I drove it down Clearwater beach and the ladies were beggin' for my manhood. Sadly, I had Troy with me and that kinda killed things. Damn that Troy, I'm leaving him home for now on.

I thought for every X unit of wider stance, was equal to Y unit of lowered center of gravity?

roughly, every 2" wider, is like lowering the car by . 5" . i forgot the equation, but yes, widening has the same effect as lowering to some proportion regarding g holding. (all other things equal)

I would love to see how the front was made to match the rear!

this one is wild!

I'd venture to guess that those are MPSC R-compounds. Even still, I agree with Brian that the COG is lower, (theoretically) giving a car a higher cornering speed before the weight transfer causes the tires to break away.

if that suspension hasnt changed, it looks like those rims are offset about 6-10" wider on each side based on the lower control arm compared to the wheel inner half. not so good for aerodynamics, but killer for handling!
