ABS upgrade for oldboy ?

Question ABS upgrade for oldboy ?

Just bought S4 breakes for my 78', and the german porsche guy asked if I wanted to upgrade with ABS. The breakes are from a 90'. But is it possible or waist of time/money...?????

The thought of it is enough to make me run screaming the other direction... for it to work you would need rear axles and upright hubs with gears for the speed sensor...for the front complete front suspension both a-arms uprights hubs with gear for the speed sensor and the actuator hydraulic unit all four sensors wiring relays and all the brake metal lines and much much time... after all that you would only have Better braking control in a Panic stop.
