Dead End at speakerrepair.com
Bringing this back from the dead:
The '90 I just bought has a dead woofer on the rear passenger side. Since I'm 10 miles from Anaheim I talked to Sharon at OC Speaker. She said that they don't have parts for an utomotive 6.5" round, only some 6x9's So dead end there. Has anyone else found a re-coning service that'll do these speakers? There's got to be someone somewhere that can do 6.5" rounds, no?

Bill - I have a/d/s/ A6is speakers there that fit inside the factory grilles and just into the cutouts. Great sounding speakers and the tweeters also go in the other smaller grille there (with some fabrication). these are not in any way inexpensive - but a/d/s/ speakers almost all round was one of the few nice things my PO did for me (the a/d/s/ P440 amp was about the only the other thing).
