He certainly had some interesting ideas, but like many of you, I would have done a few things different. In particular, I'm not crazy about the coloriong in the door panels - I'd do the whole armrest in one color, and the whole upper part in the other. Also, the two-tone steering wheel is too busy in my book - I would have left it black or done it completely in color. And there are a few other details... In the big picture, I think it's an interesting conversion, and the cork-like piping on the seats looks very luxurious.
He says he invested Euro 27k (over $30k) in this car in the first four months of ownership. Now he wants about 20k Euros for it. That's still more than $24k - I'd say the car has to be 100% perfect to justify that.

I have to say, that saying the interior is too busy is not what I have seen. I was at the LA Auto show last weekend and the nicer euro cars have exactly that look, two tone with lot's of shiney bits. Call me crazy (yea, like I have never said THAT before) but it speaks Bugatti style to me. I think the interior is tastefully done in a euro contemporary manner. JMHO

Interior is a bit hyperactive & does not jive with exterior, & although I'm not a battleship grey fan, it looks exceptional on this car (as it does on the Audi TT). I must be a PERFECT paint job to pull off that color!

The paint might look good in person but it comes out a bit flat on the pictures and IMHO the interior is a bit noisy with all the different colours and materials.
How do you like it Nicole?

Lukewarm.... I appreciate all the effort that went into it, but I'm not a fan of the mud-colored exterior and I think the interior is a bit busy. I think the interior would grow on me over time, and I think the only advantage to the paint color is you could get away with washing it a lot less frequently than black.
