How NOT to buy a 928
This poor chap (British) is suffering from buying a 928 Strossek on Ebay sight unseen. His up and down tale can be read at the link below. Moral of the story, don't buy a car unless checked out by someone who knows THAT car. Yes, there are some lucky people (there are some honest people remaining in this world), but it is pure luck if you run into them during a car deal.

Oh wow, I remember someone posted a pic of that car when it was up on e-bay UK. I saved it and still drool over it.
Too bad he got burned by lack of PO maintenance, hope he gets it sorted and running again!

Perhaps another example of a poorly done supercharger install with resultatant head gasket failure, excessive blow by, and now either timing belt failure or the rings, pistons, cylinders are toast !

Out of curiosity, I tried it as wallpaper and it won't work...schunches the image up so it looks like a VW beetle. It is one beautiful car. Wonder whose it is?
