The Ford units referred to are invariably Bosch injectors. 24#/hour units with o-rings as supplied are a direct drop in for the '85 - '86 32v IIRC.
Normally aspirated S4s take a 19# injector - and a larger O-ring is required on the manifold end .... I haven't yet found a set of S4 rings, but they are available.
These 19# Bosch injectors come in the yellow body Design II type ( left ) or the orange design III ( right ), both of which are 4-port disc type .... with impedance of ~14.5 ohms.

I've heard form my F-I-L (who had some injectors for some American big iron done there) thaat they are fair and square.

I plan to hand-carry my injectors out to them in February when I am visiting him for a couple of weeks of touring airplane museums, swap meets, salmon fishing and general old coot hell raising. I called them and they said then can turn them around ina couple of days if I bring them in.

I was thinking about going over to Bothell anyway, to see if the underground FEMA place is giving tours yet ....

Wonder what the TSA maroons will think of the injectors in my bagagge .. OMG! a Full Cavity Search you think!?! Oh! You Big Meany You!

Hi Dave. Are you going to pass through NV in your travels. It would be good to see you again.

Yep, I used them last summer. They did a fine job. Cleaned, balanced, turned them around in 2 days. Highly recommended.

Alex70,

Thanks, I'll check out BRET, they are 5 minutes away from me. Not sure why the post didn't show my Shark, but she's an '85 Manual.

Everybody, thanks for the great recommendations, now I need to pull the injectors and get them off, the only question is now what do I drive to work. I love my Shark but she is EXPENSIVE to feed. Thinking about a motorcycle for a couple days a week.
