Not here to argue on your thread - but I do it alot. More often then not. Auto and manual. Thats why I don't like what happens to your dyno lines after 5k on 12psi. It almost seems like they are running out of steam? Maybe some bigger turbos, even for the 4.5L. Give up lower end and get some screamers for 3k-6500rpm.

Also, question, - looking at your graphs, where are there such large squiggly lines? I understand that many are "smoothed" electronically, but is something happening with the Wastegate? Is it poping open abd then closing in a quick succession?

I'm done bickering about the turbo/ CS comparison. I proven (twice) the power delivery and numbers are far superior, even when on a 928.

If you can build the power at a lower RPM and stress your engine less then why not do it?

Good job Kuhn. Don't let anyone draw you into another stupid argument. Be the better man.

I asked some honest and direct questions John. Honest and direct. No bickering at all.

To answer your question about the sharp lines...result of the fuel mixture. It can afford to be leaned out more, probably another 15HP hiding in the lard of the fuel curve. No time or desire right now, too busy with my job and laser focused on the 32V build.

John has a very nice S-4 5 speed purchased from the estate of one of our very good customers/ friend , a true car nut. John intends to rebuild it to his specs (although it is a perfectly good engine) and twin turbo it. That should be very interesting !

Because under full throttle accelleration, when you shift out of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th will see only 4k--6.5k rpms.

I'm not sure how asking about:

Turbo sizing, since 12psi seems to be moving the powerband to the middle

Squiggly lines, where there are 30hp and 30lbft changes in power up and down repeatedly.

....would start an argument? We talk about sizing and dyno graphs with CS and TS all the time. Why can't we do it now?

Some aftermarket EFI would probably do wonders. 30 or more hp from just controlling the engine with MAP and TPS.

Why was the Dyno run on 6psi stopped at 5300rpm? I See 6k on the 12psi run.

I wonder if he'll offer payment plans for the 32v kits? I wouldn't mind having a TS and a Turbo'd 928 in my garage
