I finally got my two girls after FIVE boys!! Really :-)

Yeah I am done!!

It's true though, when I see my shark walk up to my shark out in the driveway, or out in the parking lot at work, I can't believe she's mine!! Gives me goose bumps!! :-)

Yep, it sure helps when you find yourself standing in the garage, just wondering what you could do to it - polish the wheel lips, give it another coat of Rejex, put some more rejuvenator on the seats, wiping off some obscure location on the engine, just about anything. I guess I'm not really obsessed at all.

I have sprained my ankle so I'll be driving the half mile to work today rather than walking as usual. There's a 7 year waiting list for parking spaces at the office, but fortunately I have one for the rest of the week. However, this means the spaces are not particularly generous, I can't believe I've been lying awake trying to work out the best place to park...

Take a cab. No worries then.

Andrew a simple cone shape flat on the big end is more aerodynamic less drag with the big flat face pointed into the wind rather than pointed end to the wind... which is one reason why why rain drops have pointed tails and highly aero dynamic cars often look pretty ugly.

Default aerodynamics

Jim: This should be another thread: While I do not disagree with your statement about which end of a raindrop leads, and the aero mirror may have less drag glass to the front but I bet there is a fluid dynamic explanation as to why a raindrop falls large end first or toward the axis of motion, something to do with mass leading the momentum? I'm not an engineer so I'm sure I haven't used proper terms; I mean there just has to be more drag associated with a larger surface area (the larger front of a rain drop) but it is overcome by some other fluid property or a free falling object and the instability of pointy nose. There is no denying which way it falls, I just think there is more complicated explanation besides drag as to why. Norm may have an answer.

The raindrop comment is apparently dated information..."In truth, raindrops are spherical in shape when they begin to fall. Then, unless they are very small, they take on shapes with flattened bases and rounded tops, looking more like falling hamburger buns than teardrops, as they fall. The distortion from the spherical drop is caused by the air resistance against the drop as it descends, which flattens the lower drop surface. This aerodynamic drag force can further deform large drops into sagging dumbbell shapes, causing the biggest ones to eventually split into two or more smaller drops." So ignore the raindrop comment.
