Sometimes we are suckers for round numbers - like taking a photo when the odo rolls over 100,000 miles, etc.

I just noticed that this should be post # 2000...

Congratulations Wally and thanks from the bottom of my heart for 2000 posts, each one the very best technical help any Porsche owner could ask.

My thanks to you, too, Wally, for all of the time, work, and considered advice. When I got my car, and it was blowing heat all the time, the first reply I got said "Get Wally's HVAC paper!!". Fixed me up right away. Keep on sharkin', Wally!

Gee, I just passed post number 928 talking about a set of aero mirrors that were never available...

Thanks Wally, you have helped me out a couple of times too!

Wally, you've saved my bacon many times. You're always willing to help and you never 'talk down' to anyone asking questions however stupid they may be...although it is advisable to include what year your shark is along with the question

Milestones indeed.........Dave thanks for your significant contribution.

Wally, without you and alike many of our well running 928s would be sitting around somewhere not fixed beacause of dealerships massive hourly rates or butchered by 'mechanics' who thought our machines were just another car.

Sounds like party time to me!!!

Thanks Wally! Given what I perceive of your quality/quantity ratio, this is a hell of a milestone.

I'm going to hijack this thread for a moment only because I can't take it anymore....

Malcolm, your avatar is making me crazy with that black "tentacle" thing. Please accept this corrected image, unless, of course, you like the "tentacle"...
