I plan to check the contacts of this sensor before I bite the bullet & buy a new one.
The pass. side sensor is definitely the culprit, thanks to DR & his hammer (Dave actually diagnosed the problem & predicted the code before the hammer read it out!)
Are there any writeups that cover the pass. side sensor?
I've found driver's side, but not passenger.
Thanks in advance.

J.P., I know you were in on an at least one of the earlier threads:As you're already doing, I'd definitely get in there and clean (and apply DeoxIT, etc.) the contacts on the connector to the sensor before even thinking about replacing the sensor. Looks like Andrew already gave you the info you need to get to the sensor and its connector -- getting the LH and EZK out of the way. Just make damn sure you do this with your battery ground strap disconnected (as it says in step 1).
For the record, my cleaning/DeoxIT-ing of the sensor connector fixed my problem; it's been over a half a year and the problem hasn't returned.
