928 Specialists should have one early next year. Dave Roberts is building the prototype now. As far as I know, nobody else has made a kit specifically for S2s. People have adapted FAST kits and you could adapt a 928 Motorsports or Murf SuperShark kit to an S2.

I see on Carl's site that he does sell a Stage 1 kit for S2s. I've never heard of Carl or a customer installing his kit on an S2. That doesn't mean it hasn't been done or wouldn't work. Notice that there are no install photos or dyno charts for an S2.

From all that I've read and heard, Carl's kits are very well assembled and complete.

Our kits have been on Porsche 928's for 5 years now - and that has allowed us to refine and re-develop both the kit and the installation manuals so that it is quite an easy install.

I have parts lists and descriptions for you here:
http://www.928m.com/parts/superchargers.html

I have videos of the installed kit and testing the kits here:
http://www.928m.com/ourvideos.html

I have the first 1/3 of the installation manual here so you can look at it yourself
and see how thorough it is:
http://www.928m.com/install.html

I'm sorry I do not have a dyno chart to offer you for the 310 HP Euro 16V S2 with our kit on it just yet. We have sold many more 32v kits than 16v kits, and among 16v kits, most all have been 8.5:1 or 9.0:1 early cars. I have sold and shipped a 10:1 Stage 2 kit, but the owner is a soldier in Iraq and has not been home yet to install it. He promises me dyno charts when he is done...

BTW - we ship Internationally all the time.

What other questions may I answer for you?

Hi Carl

Thanks for the answer

I have emailed you...only thing I forgot to ask is whether the high compression will be a problem or an advantage ?

Also at end of January I am having X-PIPES fitted to go with my RMB....will this be ok with a blower ?

Also as I am aiming for 500 rwhp..is that possible with your stage 2 kit or will I need the stage 3 kit I saw mentioned but couldnt find details of ??

All the best Brett

I'll get your email tomorrow at the office.

Let me answer what I can right now....

We run 8 psi of boost on the 9.5 and 10:1 32v motors commonly with no problem at all.... but they have an improved combustion chamber shape when compared to the 16v heads - so they do get away with more.

The Stage 2 kit I shipped already is designed for 6 psi at 6000 RPM, about 4 psi in the middle of the power band (3 to 5000 RPM) and that will keep your combustion temps comfortably below the 1075 degrees that is a yardstick for auto-ignition (detonation).

So - where we ship 32v kits at 8 psi on 10:1 and 10.4:1 motors, I want to start you at 6 psi on your 10:1 16v motor just to be extra-safe.... your petrol is different over there too (probably better)

Then we'll dial it up as you feel comfortable. I manufacture supercharger pulleys in 1 psi increments for just this purpose! (See pic below, or this webpage) http://www.928m.com/parts/6ribpulley.php

Your X-Pipes and RMB will be fine, albeit LOUD with a blower. Keep the RMB after you take it off. You may want to put it back!

I'm sure 500 HP is possible from the 16v motor, but I do not expect that without some tweeking over-and-above the kit. I think you'll comfortably be in the 450 HP arena out-of-the-box at 6 psi, then we'll carefully climb and tune to get you the numbers you desire.
