Have an auction running for our Infiniti M45 and needed a DVD to depict the rear seat DVD entertainment system so......

Look down the pictures about 2/3 of the way to the end....

My wife says I'm not right, guess this confirms it.

What's not right? I think its gAAReat!

How long have you had the M45? Why are you chucking it? And what's that overgrown beetle in your sig line? Inquiring minds want to know

EDIT: OK, maybe I figured it out. You have ordered a 997 w/Aerokit.

Losing some backseat room aren't you?

Excellent!

Curious... why are you selling it? I've always loved that car since it was a concept...

Yeah, a little less back seat room but that's what the company SUV is for. People who know us well have come to expect new vehicle surprises from us on a regular basis. Just in the past 18 months there has been a Cayenne S, Cayenne TT, Black GTS, Mercedes CLS 500 and this M45. My wife and I have had 30+ vehicles in the past 14 years. I am a very lucky man to have found the ultimate car girl! She is the reason for all except the black GTS listed above! Sooooooooo, in continuing that tradition we've ordered a 997 C2S coupe with an aero kit.

As for the M45, it is an absolute awesome car! Last fall, we took it to the BRP for a fall color tour and to test it out on the twisties we've driven some of our other Porsches on over the years. What a blast! The car performs as well or better than some of the german sedans we've owned including IMHO the CLS 500! It has all the comforts you could ever want, 19's, heated and cooled seats, rear wheel active steering, very intuitive voice command unit including blue tooth and navigation. To top it all off, it performs! If you read the major car rags ranked this car equal or better than the MBZ E500,BMW 5 series, and the Lexus GS 430. If anyone on the list is interested in the car, please let me know as I would love someone who appreciates the car have it. I'll sell it to a fellow Rennlister for a really good price. You'd never be able to buy one for what I'll sell you this one.

I know by now most of you are thinking we take some pretty huge hits financially because we don't keep them long. All I can say is, we buy them right.......

[edit] here are a couple pics from our BRP adventure. I especially like the pasta on the nav screen!

I couldn't pay the sales tax on all those transactions. Do you have a dealer's license?

Thankfully its only 3% in NC. No dealers license, you need a building/lot to get one. Trust me, I tried.......

Chuck
It just makes room for another 928!!! Did you get the X50 in the 997? 381hp!

How do you like the CLS500?.....IMHO a very good looking car....of course the CLS55 or CLS65 (when it comes out) would be even better! I would imagine the M45 performs better than the CLS in most areas...except for maybe ride quailty?

No, we didn't order X50 at $16k with minimal performance increases it just doesn't make sense.

The CLS was an awesome car! One of the best looking cars on the market right now IMHO. The power of the 65 cars is insane to match their insane price. Where will the horse power wars end? Far too much for most of the people driving those cars! Believe it or not, the M45 ride is much more sporting than the CLS which I actually prefer. I cannot say anything bad about the M45 and it's significantly less $ than a CLS. Infiniti put the German sedans like the E500 and the 5 series in their sights when they designed this car and in my opinion (as well as in the opinions of many automotive journalists) they nailed it. It truly is a great car.

That "pasta" (NC80) is my private "Test Track". This is the road I took everyone down on the drive from Grandfather to the Restaurant during SITM 05.

Holy cow that is a lot of plastic under the hood. Whatever happened to actually showing the engine?

Pretty cool with the Risky Business video.

I've seen a few other new(er) cars with stacks of plastic covering the engine. Seams silly to cover everything like that.
