Default Piggy back computers -which one?

Which piggy back computer is best for our LH equipped sharks? As I get deeper into the track world would like to fine tune the engine throughout the rpm range than just making coarse adjustments. Have even thought of a complete stand alone, TEC 3 or Motec, but at my level it's not really needed yet.

Happy Holidays,
Constantine
P.S. David Lloyd is coming to the 48 Hours of Sebring PCA races 2/10-12/2005. Hoping for another podium finish for a 928 in either the Sprint race or Enduro. Will post a formal announcement soon. No pressure David!

Hi John,

Thanks for the reply! I guess not many people get into this sort of thing. Funny since with all the SCing going on one would think that fine tuning the engine mangement system would be a must.

Yes, you will be missed at Sebring for sure! Maybe next year after you complete your motor?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

If you have an 87+ car call Dave Roberts about the SharkTuner. Otherwise most people seem to use the SMT-6 which Louie sells.

Go and look at the perfectpower website, take a look at the info for the SMT 6, it is a very good piggyback fuel and timing tuner.

I hope this helps you out.

Put a hot wire on your car and use the Split Second PSC1-009. Gives you a full 2-D map of the fuel curve with laptop program capability.
