Peter, do me a favor and weigh the wheels before you put tires on. I'd like to know what each size weighs compared to the Design 90's on my S4 and GT

Hi Chuck,

the 9" weighs 10,1 Kg and the 8" is 9,4 Kg both with sensors.

(a CS 9" without sensors is 10,0 Kg and with a 245 tire it is 20,3 Kg)

Cheers/Peter

Thank Peter. Area around RDK sensors seems to be integral part of the wheel. I was thinkting that factory might have used same basic wheels as without sensor and just later on added their mounting points to the wheels. Quess they did them differently from the scratch.

I will look closer on that tonight but I think wheel is the same.
If I remember correctly, it looked like holes have been drilled in the rim after wheel is made for the sensors.
Anyone knows howe to remove them without any damage?

/Peter

Normal Porsche way, WSM has instructions involving special tools.
