I'm not sure if this is the place to put it, but I do have a new set of Devek LII headers hanging in the garage. They are available right now to people that feel they need a solution, a very good solution, right now.

They have been coated with the good stuff from HPC coatings.

As long as I know there would be another run of some form of headers (whether it be devek or These wonderful ones through 928intl), I could sell and ship these immediatley.

I can take pics, but they have not been installed. Merely stored in shirts, and now on the wall like antlers.

950.00 would be what I would need do its not a bad decision for me to sell.

Still need to measure to see if I can fit them under the car though as they are rather long.

How many sets would I have to order to get a volume discount?
Have you seen the newer versions in the summit cataloug? They are from dyna-something. Pricey, but they look great.

No, I haven't seen those, are they of similar design? I have personal experience with these flowmaster collectors so I was planning to stick with them.

I'd be afraid those Flowmaster monstrosities would hit the floor on either side of the tunnel. You're probably better off with the supplied collectors and an X-pipe than those things.

As to all these extras like stepped headers and different collectors, all can be good. But not always, you only have to do some reading and what works on some cars doesn't always work on others. As to the stepped headers generally they are regarded as a good thing. However I can tell you not all engines in F1 used the stepped header and for what reason I don't know. But it is horses for courses.

Just like different length headers can help in different parts of the torque curve. Also some say the Tri Y set up is best, I'm of the view any well designed system with have some slight negatives but the positives will well out weigh them. Just as long as the negatives are not where you don't want them.

Cheers Greg

FYI, Mark and his wife went in the shop during the Holiday (the shop was closed) to ship out all of your headers (I personally supervised). Oh, he also personally marked all the header pieces (right side and left side). What a GUY

I think I can speak with everyone who placed an order for these headers.

It is very much appreciated that 928 International went and offered these headers to everyone after the complete fiasco of the header "group buy" from the another vendor on this webboard.

Thanks again Mark

Does anyone know how much HP to expect from these headers alone? With an X-pipe?

How much is the weight difference from stock S4/GT headers, is it lighter or heavier?

Yes what do these headers weigh? Mine weigh 10 kgs for the pair, sorry my scales only measures in 0.5 kg increments. The headers I have are 28 inches long.

Also I know believe my twin three inch system with varaible back pressure will weigh in at 28 kgs vs the stock weight of 45 kgs.

I think they were more into endurance than weight.
How many OB exhausts has been replaced due to rust?

Rehan Greg,

That is half way between the S exhaust and the S4 exhaust. The S exhaust weighs 42 to 43 kgs and the S4 weighs is at 50 kgs. This includes the manifolds by the way. So please forgive my 45 kgs as it was a halfway between the two.

Cheers Greg

Ok, that clears things up. 50 kg for the whole system is way too much your 28kgs sounds more reasonable.

When will be next group buy on these, Mark? Any change on taking care of the coating as there aren't places who could do it locally?

I think we have finally gotten ourselves out of previous group buy, from our point of view at least. Not sure about my credit card company's take on it.
