There was not such a critter as far as Porsche is concerned... after market "tuners" were not authorized or approved by Porsche .

If I'm not mistaken, this is the 3rd one FS, but none with this HP. Mark on this list had one he claimed was worth 28K and there was one in Florida. Again, neither of those had any extra horses IIRC. He'll get zero bids, I'm predicting. Not to my taste HP or not.

They look like the same car as I have watched every auction with this car, and all from the same area. Makes me wonder......

If that DP car is worth $50,000 then Tarek's Super widebody and Pierre's Fat Bully must be worth twice as much. The lines on this DP car are not nearly as smooth flowing as the two examples listed above. It seems that every so often one of these DP cars pops up for some crazy starting bid. Every one of the sellers seems to think that they are super rare. Maybe I just keep seeing the same three cars again and again. There was one for sale near Orlando, FL a few weeks back. That one had some terrible interior colors. At least this one is tastefully done. I wish the seller good luck but I doubt he will get any takers at that price. Maybe he is just showing off

By the way. My refference to the two widebodies are just as examples. These are my two favorite 928's so I used them as an example. No offense intended to the owners of those two beauties.

I've driven the car once, in March '05. It's shy of 400hp, but not far, as the body work I'm sure added some weight. I drove it a few blocks: sounds, looks incredible. I'm probalby the only one who's driven it besides Homa since '95 or so...I need to ask him that. The original owner spent $85k with DP if memory serves...Homa saw him in Germany driving, chased him down, & bought the car out from under him in '85, he's owned it since then.

How is the engine achieving this HP? The ad makes no mention of this detail.

Is it just me or does that little S spoiler look miniscule on this car. And the white wheels take away from the looks in my opinion. The body itself looks pretty good. I especially like the frontal view.

Here you claim the car is a euro:

but in the other thread about it
you claim it is a US model? :

Nobody knows for sure what was done to the engine w/o disassembling it, Not even DP as I asked them directly back in March. They remember the car, but most files have vanished from that far back.
Seems that the side markers placed behind the wheel indicates euro (body at least).
Which is it?

How much do you want to bet ? because like many of the "bids " on E-bay it is not hard to make a bid...the hard part is following through and buying it

The fact that they are in the door, not much. But rear vents like that could be used for anything. Trannie cooler, oil cooler or brake cooler:
